Well Well its been another wonderful ACen. This was my 10th year attending and I can really say its been such a pleasure attending and watch this con grow into what is now the 2nd largest Anime convention in the U.S. This year ACen had over 23,000 people, My guess was about 22k so I was really surprised when I heard how much it really was. This year had wonderful events, panels and a really awesome exhibit hall and artist alley. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t take as many photos or videos as I wanted, But it really is hard doing that while Cosplaying and running around trying to do so many things. This year I bought my first resin anime figure, which I’ve been thinking about and wanting for a long time ( separate post about that coming soon). Continue reading »

The Little Con that could! After a 4 hour drive (Google Maps said 4h 40m – shows what kind of driver Paul is lol) We finally made it to Anime St. Louis! Well more like Anime Colinsville =P Though you could kind of see the arch far in the distance… Continue reading »

~The Way There~

Paul, Rowdy, and myself headed out at 7 am on Friday morning so we’d  be at Anime St. Louis as early as we could. Because of this I now know I definitely dislike long car rides (ι´Д`) ….. at least during the day time…..But it was worth it for a convention.

Well we are back From Anime St. Louis….been back for a while actually, just now got around to writing a report on the con. So me, Rainbow Ice, and Rowdy drove 4 hours to just go for one day friday( didn’t have work off for the weekened) and let me say that I am NOT doing that again. The con itself was fun and I wanted to just make the drive cause i didn’t think it was gonna be tooo bad. But then I realized after the day was over that we spent more time driving than at the con itself. Continue reading »

me pink

If there is one thing I really need for my Lolita wardrobe, it was something that would be light weight that would also keep my arms warm if it was chilly outside. So, lucky for me, I found out how to turn my turtleneck, something I never wear, into a cute shrug that goes great with some of my Lolita clothing.

What better way to spend a lazy saturday than going to an Anime Convention! Anyway Karoshi-Con is a one day con that was held on April 2nd. Karoshi-Con was located at Northern Illinois University and is run buy the Anime Association of NIU. Oh and did I mention is was FREE. Gotta love a free con for our Broke ass otaku selves. I did not have to high of expectations going to this con since it was a college run convention, But honenstly I was quite surprised how big it was and how many things they had going on. It was pretty much a mini con with everything you’d expect at a con.
